GA Winners in Scholastic Art and Writing Competition
GA Students Nancy Cui and Xena Wang were honored by the 90th Annual Scholastic Arts competition earlier this year for their art and writing. Nancy earned two Gold Key Awards and two Silver Key Awards. “Lion Lamp” a piece made in her Sculpture Honors class, won the Gold Key Awards.
Xena submitted both art and writing to the same competition where she received one Gold Key Award and one honorable mention for her writing, and Silver Keys for each of her 5 painting submissions.
We are proud of their accomplishments!

Katrinna Whiting '09 Wins Prestigious Design Award
On February 8-10, GOOD held a Hacking Energy Culture hackathon at Maryland Institute College of Art, aimed at generating new ways to interface with energy consumption, waste, and preservation. The winning solution was from a team that included Katrinna along with Nicholas DePaul, Kevin Zweerink, and Kacie Mills.
