The Maryland Institute College of Art, located in Baltimore, will
be holding their annual PA presentation in Philadelphia on January 14th,
2012 at the Sofitel Hotel. MICA is ranked as one of the top art schools
in the nation, so this presentation should
be of great interest to anyone considering a future in the arts.
The program is quite expansive and incredibly informative. It includes
optional individual portfolio reviews, a presentation of
scholarships/financial aid and an alumni panel discussion. The alumni
panel discusses everything from careers, internships to navigating
those difficult decisions with parents and the whole college decision
process. Besides being a valuable experience for you as a young aspiring
artist, this is equally insightful for your parents as well.
