It wasn't very long ago that most of what we think about when we think about art happened in a studio and was experienced in a gallery or museum. But times have changed,

Banksy happenings and site specific installation out of doors have become the new norm for experiencing and interacting with art. In response to this changing landscape, Art teachers Jess Grisafi and Sara Ritz are heading up a new all school initiative called Art Across the Academy, intentionally curated indoor and outdoor spaces designed to share the work of student artists and to introduce the work of professional artists. In addition to The Art Center Gallery and The Honors Art Gallery, look for work in The Pavillion, The Library, The Preserve, and offices and green spaces around campus.
