Kindergarteners made marbleized suminagashi paper and then printed on top of this special paper.
Kindergarten artists created fish printing plates and printed in a way inspired by the traditional style of Japanese fishermen, gyotaku (“fish rubbing”).
Kindergarten learned about the colorful landscapes of artist Ted Harrison. In the style of Harrison, Kindergarteners painted their landscapes using warm and cool colors. Kindergarten artists learned how to make colors lighter by tinting with white paint.
